The Equipment

Ever since I was a teenager just starting out in photography, I've loved the quality of Nikon cameras and Nikkor lenses; in my opinion, they are synonymous with quality. I still have my Nikon Photomic F2 that I bought in 1970, and it works as well today as it did then. To continue to get excellent results after 35 years validates their workmanship and reliability. Even though times have changed, and the uses of 35mm cameras have been diminished by digital, I still hold Nikon in high esteem. Their line of digital cameras and Nikkor lenses continues to offer me the highest quality I have found.

I use the Nikon D200 10.2 megapixel camera, along with the Nikon Coolpix 8800 8.0 megapixel digital camera exclusively. Both offer superb sharpness and picture quality. With just these two cameras, I can easily capture environmental photographs, macro close-ups, scenic landscapes, portraits, and everything in between. Therefore, I continue to stand by their products, seeing for myself that the high resolution image quality produced by these cameras and their Nikkor lenses is outstanding in every photographic aspect.
