The photographs here in Gallery 1 are from some local Massachusetts South Shore coastal towns. Included are two photos from Cohasset, one photograph of The First Parish Church on Cohasset Common, and also a photo of The Cohasset Historical Maritime Museum, which is located in Cohasset Village. From the town of Norwell there are photographs of the Union Street Bridge and the famous North River that flows under it. There is also an infrared black and white photograph taken at Gordon Pond, which is located within the Norris Reservation in Norwell. Also from Norwell is an Early morning photograph of a Bluebird house that sits in a field at the Jacobs Farm on Jacobs Lane. There is a photograph of a tree that sits all by itself in the middle The Tack Factory Pond in Scituate. In Plymouth, we'll view a photo of a door an old brickwork from an old long abandonded rope mill located in the Cordage Park area of that town. There is a photo of Officers Quarters at the abandonded Fort Andrews Army Base on Peddocks Island in Boston Harbor, and from nearby Dorchester Bay along Morrissey Boulevard there is a photograph of boats resting as the early morning fog begins to break. The historical First Parish Church on Cohasset Common is seen here shortly after a light snow. This entire area of the Cohasset Common Historical District was listed in 1996 in the National Register of Historic Places. Besides being listed on the National Register of Historic places, the First Parish Church also appeared in the 1987 film "The Witches of Eastwick"... Many of the scenes in the movie were filmed here in Cohasset.
