I'm PayPal Verified   What You Will See On Your Visit While visiting here, you will see some of my digital photos of the Boston area, as well as many of the scenic coastal communities south of Boston. AROUND MASSACHUSETTS Many of the photo images in the eight galleries are from Massachusetts areas around Boston and the South Shore coastal towns such as Norwell, Hingham, Scituate, Duxbury, Marshfield, Martha's Vineyard, Cohasset Harbor, Hull, Nantasket Beach, Plymouth, and the Boston Harbor area of the abandoned Fort Andrews Army Base on Peddocks Island (one of my favorite places to visit and photograph). In addition to some of the local scenery of the area, you’ll view historical places as well, such as the North River-where ship building flourished-in the 1700 and 1800's, The Friends Meeting House (the oldest building in Pembroke), and the oldest place of worship in continuous ecclesiastical use in the United States, the Old Ship Church in Hingham. You’ll also see a bit of Hollywood, as you view a Church in Cohasset that was used in the movie "The Witches of Eastwick”. While in Cohasset we'll visit a monument to shipwreck victims of the Saint John that took place off of the Cohasset coast in 1849. We'll also visit Peddocks Island, home to the abandoned Fort Andrews Army base which was in operation from 1904 until its closing shortly after WWII. We will will continue southward as the galleries exhibit areas such as the Civil War site of the Anteitam National Battlefield in Sharpsburg, Maryland, Gettysburg Civil War Battlefield Grand Canyon in Arizona.
